Elko started to perform electric design works in year 1999. As  the time progressed, we have grown and expanded, becoming a stable and trustworthy entity of the Latvian design market. At present, we are capable of executing projects of various complexity as well as electric design expertise (3rd group building design expertise, from 1kV up to 35kV, over 110kV ).

For execution of larger scale projects as “Estonia-Latvia third 330 kV interconnection”, we are cooperating with our local partners as well as our partners throughout Europe.

In order to ensure continuous development and growth, Elko introduced the ISO 9001 quality management system in 2000, obtaining the ISO 9001 certificate, furthermore, in 2018, the ISO 14001 – environmental management system certificate was obtained.

2018-2020 Construction of the third Estonia-Latvia 330 kV interconnection power transmission line. Development of 110/330kV OHL building design (189km), including development of building design for reconstruction of communications crossings.
2017-2018 Development of a building design for the arrangement of electricity commercial accounting of the substation “Bauska”. Bus bridge and commercial accounting reconstruction including relay protection and SCADA, developing building design.
2017-2018 Development of a building design for the arrangement of electricity commercial accounting of the substation “Sloka”. Bus bridge and commercial accounting reconstruction including relay protection and SCADA, developing building design.
2017-2018 Development of a building design for the arrangement of electricity commercial accounting of the substation “Mārupe”. Bus bridge and commercial accounting reconstruction including relay protection and SCADA, developing building design.
